So I've been MIA for a while now. With two one year olds running around spare time isn't exactly in abundance around here and I've had things to work on! I started Project Life (if you haven't heard of it, it's the most amazing scrapbook system out there, Google it!) and I got all the pictures for 2012 printed and in the book. (All 795 I them) I figured if I could get myself caught up I could maintain three books at a time, one for our family and one for each of the girls. There's one layout for every week and each layout is designed to hold 7 pictures. You can squeeze lots more in if you're a picture nut like me! :) So now I'm working on the journaling for last year's book and then I'll start on 2011. I'm so excited that I found a way to document all the special little moments in our day to day lives and not just the big things! I have some other REALLY exciting news...but I'll tell you about that a little later. Other than that we've just been hangin' out...doin' Mathes things. Here's a few of my favorite highlights: ![]()

These are my two newest paintings...Havyn and I at the hospital the day she was born and Emersyn and I at the airport the first time I held her. They make my heart full.
My mom and I made home made cinnamon rolls...they were completely to die for! ![]()

There's a new way to upload pictures on Blogger, and as you can tell, I'm trying to figure it out (without much success). This last month I've kept up with my Giving Reasons too. I bought some healthy groceries for a homeless man, bought some clothes for a child in need, volunteered at the spay and neuter clinic, left some little notes of encouragement in spots that I thought could use some...I'll get back to posting pictures here. I'd love to hear all about your Giving Reasons! NOW....the EXCITING news!! I've been wanting to write a children's book for a few years now. This morning the story line I've been waiting for just came to me as I was playing in bed with Havyn! My hope is that one day we can use the profit from this book to build a small neighborhood in Ethiopia for homeless families. Now all I need to do is write it, illustrate it, and get it published! No biggie, right?! I'm REALLY excited about this new adventure and I know that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step! Any advice from anyone out there? It would be much appreciated!! I hope you all had a spectacular February and that we all have a memorable March! :)
