We started the morning off right! My mom came down and we all had waffles and bacon (I don't eat pork...I just love pigs too much...but everyone else said it was delicious)! I'm not a huge fan of maple syrup. I mean, it's fine and all, but it doesn't hold a candle to boysenberry!! Havyn agrees. ![]()
Somehow I got to eat my breakfast in peace with both the girls sitting on someone else's lap. Shhh...don't tell anyone! :) ![]()
This is Tow Mater. He's new around here. He's pretty popular! With just the push of a button he goes zipping across the room. Laughter always ensues. :) ![]()

Today I am thankful for our animals. They are truly a part of our family. I love them in all of their quirky sweetness. (See sidebar for pictures of our zoo!) Gracie-Mae has separation anxiety, Wicket is blind in one eye and afraid of most everything in the world but us, the babies (the three little dogs) attack anything that cleans...and I do mean anything...brooms, vacuums, mops. My sweet boy Landon still hasn't come home but we're praying every day that he shows up. :( They all have a little piece of my heart and I would be lost without them. On that note, today is Kali's 7th birthday! She was the first one of this crazy clan. It used to be just Jon, Kali, and me. Those days seems a distant memory! :) Happy Birthday Kow-Kow, we love you!! ![]()
For my Giving Reasons today I wanted to give to someone in need, so I went through the girls clothes and took out things that were too small for them. Usually we turn them in to a consignment store and use the credit to get bigger clothes for the girls but today I felt like someone probably needed them more than we needed the credit. I posted them on our local classifieds page and in ten minutes a girl I went to high school with said she knows someone who could really use them and she'd love to give them to her. YAY!! It makes my heart happy! So does this sock...I mean really!?? Oh the cuteness of tiny baby socks. I wonder if I will ever have to use socks of this scale again... ![]()
